Sierra County Tiger Sharks

Coach Destiny has been with the TorC TigerSharks since they were the Sierra County Swim Team Dolphins beginning in 1986. She took over coaching in 2000 and has been the head coach ever since. The kids enjoy swimming with Coach D. because she is friendly, sarcastic, and knows a whole heck of a lot about swimming. She is a HS Science Teacher, City of TorC Commissioner, Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor, Certified Pool Operator, and in her free time, dedicates all of her remaining energy to the TorC Tigersharks. Coach Destiny expects the swimmers to learn leadership, respect, new skills, water safety, competitiveness, and most importantly, how to have fun! Just one season on the team will have your children so much farther advanced when it comes to stroke mechanics. Coach Destiny encourages youth of all ages to join her team, and together, we can all have a safe and fun summer!
